Tips to help your Wedding Day run smoothly

1. NEW SHOES with the warmer months approaching, feet swell quickly. Ensure you wear your new shoes in for at least a couple of weeks before the wedding to help with comfort and blisters on the day. (Remember a small talcum powder and plasters in your emergency kit to help on the day with sweaty sore feet).

2. EAT A GOOD BREAKFAST - Your wedding day will require LOTS of extra energy, and you don't want to look tired too soon. Eating a good breakfast will ensure your energy levels remain constant through the day. Also keep a bottle of water handy, especially for the hot months.

3. CHILDREN - They need to have someone  in charge to ensure they don't run riot. Hiring a babysitter near the venue to take tired children away if need be, or having some sort of entertainment for them at the venue will ensure their parents can relax and you can too. ( Blowing Bubbles during the ceremony will help keep littles from getting bored, and will also create nice photos.)

4. CONFIRM ALL ARRANGEMENTS - Don't wait until the Wedding Day to check the band knows what time to turn up, and the caterers know your menu and guests dietry requirements. Have a responsible friend/family member help you to check off the arrangements and confirm, confirm confirm with ALL your suppliers at least one week before the big day.

5. TAKE THE TIME TO ENJOY - Make sure you take the time, to take a breath, and ENJOY your day. Talk to the guests, dance with your friends, and Relax, your special day has been months in the planning, and will go by quickly. Really take the time to savour each moment.
